Anyone else following this program? For those who don't know it, here's a link:

I'm thinking about switching dynamic rows with weighted pullups - good idea? I know rows work out the general back and pullups focus a little more on lats but I feel like I get more of a workout doing pullups then with rows. However, I'm also trying to bulk and maybe rows would be better in helping me. I don't know.

Also, I'm going back to school soon and our university gym is a pile of ass with no squat rack and tons of rules such as no oly lifts. I have to resort to squatting using the smith machine but I was wondering if I should still deadlift using the smith machine or use something else, like db's? (they don't allow you to put the weighted bars on the ground).

What are you trying to accomplish. a 5x5 is an ok part of something like a shot put or football program. If you want to be fit and fight or be fit enough to fight if you need to.... look no further than crossfit.com

My goals for using the 5*5 are primarily for gaining mass as well as being strong and athletic. I'll definitely check out crossfit though.
